Australian cockroaches are a common tropical cockroach species. They are 23-35 mm in length. They are brown. Their wings have conspicuous lateral pale stripes or margins. The pronotum has a sharply contrasting pale or yellow margin.
Australian cockroaches carry many pathogens and spread diseases. They can enter your kitchen searching for food and water sources and colonise your home or office. Also, they may cause damage to plants when winter temperatures force them to take a confined space in a nursery.
